The drum wood chipper for tractor is designed for chipping dry and green wood up to 10 cm in diameter and is driven by the tractor’s power take-off at 540 rpm. The machine is compatible with tractors from 16 to 50 HP and is designed to deliver high cutting performance while maintaining compact dimensions and ease of transport.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The machine is designed for professional use in agriculture, forestry and green area maintenance. Compact dimensions and reduced weight facilitate installation on the tractor’s three-point linkage and allow practical operation even in confined spaces. The robust structure ensures operational stability and long-term reliability, even under intensive working conditions.

DRUM CHIPPING SYSTEM
The cutting system is based on a high-inertia central drum with a width of 300 mm and a diameter of 230 mm, equipped with 2 reversible 300 mm blades made of high-strength special steel, combined with a fixed counter-blade. This configuration ensures a clean, continuous and uniform cut, providing consistent and regular chip production on both dry and green wood.

TRANSMISSION AND TRACTOR CONNECTION
The wood chipper is driven by the tractor’s PTO at 540 rpm and is compatible with tractors with power ranging from 16 to 50 HP. The transmission system is designed to ensure efficient and reliable power transfer from the tractor to the cutting drum, guaranteeing continuous operation and protection of mechanical components.

FEED HOPPER AND OVERALL DIMENSIONS
The feed hopper is designed to facilitate material feeding and is foldable, allowing a significant reduction of lateral overall dimensions during transport. This solution prevents the machine from extending beyond the tractor’s track width and improves safety and manoeuvrability during transport.

CHIP DISCHARGE
The machine is equipped with a high, adjustable discharge chute designed to efficiently direct the chips into trailers, containers or compost bins. The discharge height facilitates chip collection operations, even when using transport vehicles.

TERRAIN ADAPTATION AND STABILITY
The compact structure, low centre of gravity and balanced weight distribution ensure excellent operational stability during chipping. The wood chipper maintains stable behaviour even on uneven ground, reducing stress on the tractor and improving operator safety.

SAFETY
The machine is equipped with a mushroom-type emergency stop device that can be connected to the tractor, allowing immediate shutdown of the cutting system in case of emergency. Mechanical guards and safety devices are designed to ensure compliance with current safety regulations.

APPLICATIONS
The machine is suitable for chipping:

Maximum chipping diameter: 10 cm.

The produced chips are generally regular, approximately 1 cm in size, depending on the type and moisture content of the material. The machine is not suitable for shredding maize, straw, alfalfa or similar herbaceous materials.
